They were a shoe in for the Championship for so long then today they miss out on automatic promotion when Bradford score deep into injury time. Don't see much hope for them in P.O.s. Chesterfield squeeze in on the final day. Or could be Wimbledon or Notts Co.

Ed Upson scores the only goal on 90+4 to secure Bury Town's promotion to the Isthmian League in front of 2,139.

I hope the Wombles stay down. Nothing against them but I would like a bank holiday Derby.hoofer2 wrote: ↑03 May 2025, 17:53Hopefully it'll only cost a £1 to go to the Poundland stadium next seasonbecbee wrote: ↑03 May 2025, 17:22 Really feel sorry for Walsall. They’ve done it all by themselves, if the league had started from the first of January they would be in and around the drop.becbee wrote: ↑03 May 2025, 17:22 Really feel sorry for Walsall. Of course - but I know how I worried when we had our 3 match blip and went from being 11 points ahead to only 4. So then we turned things around on Easter Monday but it doesn't mean that I can't emphasise.beeman wrote: ↑04 May 2025, 14:01They’ve done it all by themselves, if the league had started from the first of January they would be in and around the drop.becbee wrote: ↑03 May 2025, 17:22 Really feel sorry for Walsall. From reading twitter etc,it seems they had resigned themselves to the playoffs a couple of months ago and are particularly unhappy with the manager.

Maidstone 96th min winner with 10 men. Gotta love the play offs as a natural!

What’s he doing playing at that level at the age of 30!? Have the injuries affected him that much?

We have only played Hednesford Town once. That was in 1998, an away FA Cup match which Hednesford won 3 1. Our scorer was Darren Currie.Mem Beespod wrote: ↑04 May 2025, 21:58What’s he doing playing at that level at the age of 30!? Have the injuries affected him that much?

Led to believe they have a huge budget and have some big names on their playing staff.Mem Beespod wrote: ↑04 May 2025, 21:58What’s he doing playing at that level at the age of 30!? Have the injuries affected him that much?

Andy Yiadom is likely to leave Reading this summer.
He was out with a knee injury from August to February. Has played 14 games (10 as a sub) since beginning of March. Also their team captain.
Perhaps a good addition to the squad? Experienced leader, suited for Brennan’s right wing back position.

I read somewhere that Elliot Johnson has his own business and the location and being part time suited him.beeman wrote: ↑04 May 2025, 23:29Led to believe they have a huge budget and have some big names on their playing staff.Mem Beespod wrote: ↑04 May 2025, 21:58What’s he doing playing at that level at the age of 30!? I notice that former right back Lee Vaughan is the assistant manager at Hednesford. I always thought he did quite well for us, considering the team he was playing in at the time! Also, Dan Sparkes is there too.

They've certainly got a fantastic ground. Steep, covered terracing along one side and behind one goal fosters a great atmosphere. 4701 for a Step Four play-off. Impressive.beeman wrote: ↑04 May 2025, 23:29Led to believe they have a huge budget and have some big names on their playing staff.Mem Beespod wrote: ↑04 May 2025, 21:58What’s he doing playing at that level at the age of 30!?
