Nicky Bailey was a grandad when he came back to us, Dean Sinclair basically played no football for 3 years before coming back and Dani Lopez's first spell with us was good, but so short it is difficult to ascertain a par to compare his second spell to.

Santos wouldn't fit any of those profiles. I still wouldn't want us to sign him - he would be too expensive and his knee caps fall off every other week.

Never is a strong word! I give you: Gary Phillips, Nicky Evans, Lee Harrison, and since you mention Dani Lopez, who's loan return was unsuccessful, I mention Yannick Bolasie who returned for a second successful loan-spell.

Not to mention those disasters Nicky Evans and Gary Phillips. Of course that was a different era when we were a top level 5th tier and then a 4th tier side.

Santos will not be coming to us. Well out of our price range.

Ok I shouldn’t have said never!

Sumo and God were already back when I started in 1992.

Have now recalled Ian Hendon joined permanently after a loan and that worked out rather well!

We'd be only too happy to see last season's loanee Owen Evans return permanently. But I don't think it really counts when they effectively just stay on.

I'd long since forgotten that Hendo had been on loan with us, 4 matches during the previous season.

Those who play for us when young, go on to bigger things then return towards the end of their careers are always unlikely to live up to our previous memories of them. Having said that, maybe EMC could return one day?

I would gladly see Matty Stevens back in the shirt.

EMC on off the bench in the championship play off. Unfortunately can’t support Coventry for obvious reasons

Jack Barham scored for Aldershot in their FA Trophy win at Wembley. Ryan Gondoh also played in the FA Vase Final earlier in the day.

Josh Wright was not the same player when he came back for his second spell (and there was only a couple of months between his first and second loans with us).

For those old enough to remember Tony Harding played for Barnet in their Amateur Cup Final defeat to Crook Town in 1959 then joined Sutton United scoring one of their goals to knock Barnet out of the Amateur Cup in 1962. He returned in 1963/64 to complete his 210 appearances and 153 goals in a Barnet shirt
