He is soooo poor every time I see anything of him. Was awful in the Playoff Final last season. I mean appalling.

Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
I've watched him a few times and it's really strange, (watching AFCR&D or Wellingborough). On each occasion he didn't play well, (and this seems to also be the case when I'm not watching), but the ball keeps ending up in the back of the net. I think we would all prefer a player who doesn't look great but who keeps scoring, rather than a player who looks great but can't score.northantsbee wrote: ↑14 Jun 2025, 22:26Not an ex player put one to watch for the future, Kings Lynn have signed Fletcher Toll from Corby ,only 21 but scored 100 goals over the past 3 seasons albeit at lower league clubs
Will be interesting to see how he does somewhere else.

Micah Hyde has left QPR after five years.
After joining the academy in 2020, he coached our U18s before assisting Paul Furlong with the Dev Squad as Senior Professional Development Phase Coach.
We thank Micah for all his efforts and wish him well for the future

Louie Annesley signs for Dorking
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Interesting that in Braintree's retained list announcement they make pretty clear that they want Jermaine Francis back

Was just about to say did he play for Barnet! I see he was a youth player! Very niche one that!Jimbokav1971 wrote: ↑18 Jun 2025, 20:33 Frank Vincent signs for Dorking after contract expired at Daggers.

He was never even first choice in his position for the U18s here. Has had a good career consideringCrawleyBee wrote: ↑18 Jun 2025, 20:35Was just about to say did he play for Barnet! He's 26 so I think was the same/similar year as Jack, H, Wes & EMC.#Beebot wrote: ↑18 Jun 2025, 21:11He was never even first choice in his position for the U18s here. Jack is 26.
H is 28.
Wes is 27.
Gondoh is 28.
Odoffin is 27.
Nana Kyei is 27.
Amaluzor is 28.
Shomotun is 28.
Alfie Cain is 28.
Keir Dickson is 28.
The midfield would have been almost impossible to get into and I think the left back was Keir Dickson and was decent at the time.
Charlie Ruff is also 26 and he never made it with us either.

Mason Bloomfield to Farnborough. They have also signed Dom Poleon and Rakesh Bingham. NLS is going to be tough next year!

Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
We had a whole crop of talented young players not that many years back. The trouble was that they had to sink or swim in a decidedly average Barnet team. Very often it was the youngsters who were the beacons of light alongside some pretty dire senior signings. As things stand at present, I doubt we'll see any emerging homegrown talent breaking through - at least in the medium term. That is why we need to get a proper academy up and running again.
