Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Anyone know how Finley Potter is getting on?
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
I saw a 30-min documentary on Sky on Barry Fry last night. It is a fly-on-wall following him around at Peterborough & when he goes to watch youth matches & non-league games. Also features a brief interview with Ephron Mason-Clark. Not loads of Barnet mentions but interesting to see Fry’s continual love of football & his desire to unearth new talent (not just the ones he sees at the Hive!!)
It is repeated on Sunday at 7pm on Sky Sports Football or available now on demand. It is his 79th birthday on Sunday when Posh are at Wembley v Wycombe in EFL trophy final. He said he loves Wembley & goes to watch every match he can there. Let’s hope it is the Bees he is watching on May 5th.

Sam Deering off to Wembley with Romford (duel registration) after they won there semi final on Penalties v Lincoln Utd today.
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
John Akinde scored his first league goal in a year today, but not enough to stop Colchester losing, and they sit in the relegation spots....

He provided the assist for their first goal.

And Ronnie Edwards, presumably RDH got something for warming the bench as well.

Played in about 3 games, then ruined his reputation and signed for Enfailed. Idiot . Had a drink with him and Phil Gridelet in the old social club RIP Mem.

I bumped into Daniel Powell last night who was running a training session for one of our U9 teams, he is friend with the Manager. Looks like he is retiring and looking to get into coaching and setting up a Football Academy. He also does some scouting for Arsenal.
