Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Nick Jupp kept a clean sheet in Chertsey's FA Vase win at West Auckland on Saturday (bit surprising he's down at step 5, was general;ly OK for us apart from one terrible game at Macclesfield). They play Northwich Vics in the SF.

Seems a good place to put this Tarpey-esque goal - I should add that I always thought Coulson wasn't give a fair crack of the whip
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Wow, that is almost identical to Tarpey's goal.

Manny Duku joins Halifax on loan, will likely face us next week
Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
And the week after. And will most likely score. Why didn't we get him back when we had the chance? He'd likely as not have geographically preferred us to Halifax. Just so depressing.#Beebot wrote:Manny Duku joins Halifax on loan, will likely face us next week

Legendary custodian Mark Flashman has finally found something he can actually do. He rather generously describes himself as a former professional footballer https://www.limevenueportfolio.com/cont ... -flashman/

Good luck to him in his new career.
Shame he used the word 'professional', as it's misleading by design.
At least he didn't describe himself as being a safe pair of hands.

Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Football was his only form of income at the time so it qualifies. Mark is a nice guy and to be fair he has walked the boards and made something of himself now as I bumped into him a few months after leaving Barnet and he was a security guard at M & S in Oxford Street!

True enough. If he was paid then he was indeed professional. Just seems to be overstating it a little.
He wasn't a good keeper but he had the balls to put himself out there.
Like I say, best of luck to him in his new job.

it says 1992-3 Fry was still at Barnet until 31 march then went to Southend - didn't go to brum until december 93!MCB wrote:Due to a coversation on here a while ago I checked him out on LinkedIn but that articles something else!rudebwoyben wrote:How on earth did you find this out??!!!boots wrote:Legendary custodian Mark Flashman has finally found something he can actually do.
