Jude Belligham's dad Mark is in the squad too. (Though obviously not an ex-Bee).
Indeed he wasn't, he was Old Bill for West Midlands Police.

Former goalkeeper Rihards Mātrevics is part of the Latvia squad travelling to Wembley this evening and could be in line to start. Singled out for a special mention by former West Ham teammate Declan Rice in pre-match press coverage.

Was he the lad who came on at Braintree after Cousins abortive attempt at being Owen Evans?

He was.
He played for Hendon for quite a while after he left us.

Indeed mentioned by the commentary. Shame it’s not a friendly as he might have got subbed on for some minutes.

But weird that they didn’t mention that he played for Hendon at Silver Jubilee Park, which is the closest ground to Wembley!

A mate of mine who lives in the Romford area and is a big fan (bordering on obsessive!!) of the chicken establishment mentioned in the commentary regarding the Declan Rice story, messaged me saying “A great bit of commentary there - Nando’s and Barnet both getting a mention!”

There were a few ex Bees including Luke Gambin in that ghastly Ballers League on Sky yesterday.

Lineker's name was spelt wrong as he, Richards and Shearer never bothered to turn up to manage their team.

Straight out of the Edgar Davids school.of management.
