Probably right level for him.

Sounds pretty permanent. Could never really work out the terms of his move to Barnet. Still I don't think he'll be missed.becbee wrote:http://darlingtonfootballclub.co.uk/qua ... nicholson/Norfolkbee wrote:Is it a permanent move?Pingorock wrote:Jordan Nicholson signed for Darlington.

Joined us permanently, but his contract was only until the end of the season. We only wanted him on loan in the first place but FA rules wouldn't allow it, so Peterborough released him and we gave him a short term deal.Norfolkbee wrote:Sounds pretty permanent. I don't doubt his technical ability, but his daft habit of turning his back to goal every time he gets the ball and his lazy off the ball work make him not good enough for this level. I think he'd only be of use further forward in a midfield 3 with good defensive mids covering for him.WinchyBee wrote:Anyone saying Ryan Watson isn't good enough for L2 is wrong, he's technically a very sound player with a decent pass and set piece on him. Didn't quite work at Barnet I guess but being in and out of a losing team is never good for any 'ball' player. In a good team I think he'll thrive.
Probably true, I'm not sure what else he would have done though the season to impress Tisdale. Decent assists away at Chesterfield and at home to Lincoln but that's about it.Tuesds wrote:That superb free kick into the top corner at St James Park might not have won us any points, but it appears to have won Ryan Watson a contract at the then-Grecians' manager's new club!
