Wood have appointed Ross Jenkins, from Oxford City. Pretty decent appointment for them. Got Oxford City promoted and did as well as could be expected with Oxford. Loyalty is very rare. Shows what a great character DB is. Tbf I am so used to people using Barnet as a stepping stone I was resigned to him going! Shows great intent and ambition, he’s fair from perfect but he is our best shot at promotion and is an excellent national league manager.

TK got lucky with DB, a very competent (if not exceptional) National League manager with a generally good eye for recruitment and a positive motto of togetherness which helped lift the club out of a hole. But the messiah he is not. He is replaceable and I strongly suspect Swindon will be a step too...
