Re: Transfers 2024/25

The Arsenal keeper at Chelmsford was impressive as I recall Ovie Ejeheri, who yesterday left Arsenal after 13 years. He is still only 21. 12 clean sheets in 25 games at Chelmsford and 9 clean sheets in 14 games at SJK in Finland last season. Could be worth a punt. I would imagine his wage demands m...

Re: LUKE GARRARD to leave wood

Interesting to see Ross Jenkins' assistant is Lloyd Doyley who DB signed at Hemel and followed him to Billericay. I wonder if this might result in some of our fringe players, or those needing match fitness going to Boreham Wood?

He finished the season on loan at Boston Utd, I would not be surprised to see him back there permanently.

Re: Transfers 2024/25

John Joe O'Toole could easily be a stand out player even though he is knocking on a bit, great engine, gives his all and hates losing

If this comes off, I believe he'll be the first player we've signed that has played for Hashtag United

Re: Transfers 2024/25

Good to see DB getting business done early again. I'm not overly concerned about our ability to score goals, it's keeping them out that's been the problem so who is coming in as a Keeper and in Defence are the crucial positions for me. It would be good to get these sorted out nice and early so they ...

Re: DB to Swindon?

We can rule Stephen Constadine out, he is currently manager of Pakistan. Bassey has said he would like another crack at management if the right opportunity came a long. He managed to get a tune out a truly awful squad in a short period of time, but whether he would be the right person for the job no...

Re: DB to Swindon?

Beats me how a club with financial difficulties are prepared to pay compensation for a manager when they can have Luke Garrard for free

Re: Transfers 2024/25

DB got a lot of transfer business done early last season which gave plenty of time for the team to gel in Pre-season. I hope he can do the same this season and our preparations are not scuppered by other sides coming in for our players late, like Peterborough signing EMC, which caused us to lose mom...

Re: Transfers 2024/25

Doubt we'd be able to afford their wages but some big names on Wrexham's release list. Aaron Hayden worked with Brennan at Hemel Hempstead, but he’s still league 2 quality so unlikely RHJ disappointed this season, coming from a higher does not guarantee improved performance Very true, I was doubtfu...

Re: We reach the end

Looking at where we were when Kewell got the boot and where we are now is all down to DBs appointments and his footballing philosophy. Over the past two seasons we've seen that scoring goals is not a problem. The main issue DB has to address how to play in a way that ensures we still manage to out s...
