Thanks for your best wishes, Rob.

Yesterday was very bleak for everyone associated with Barnet FC, especially the staff. It's nice of you to take the time to post. All the best to you and Halesowen also. I hope the FA Trophy gets the go-ahead as soon as is practically possible.

A Non-League club supporting an academy the match of some Championship Clubs was always incongruous.

I am sure I read somewhere that if the worst happened and it has for those affected staff, there was a contingent plan for external company to run a youth programme using Hive facilities. Let's hope sooner rather than later Coronavirus is under control and perhaps staff can get old jobs back.

I had an e-mail today via Twitter which linked to an open letter sent out to all Hive Gym Members.
It basically said that the Hive Gym is still open for business, but with practical hygienic advice given.
So there is at least some revenue coming into the business.
The letter also tried to allay fears about our own staff who were self-isolating last weekend. It said that the 4 people concerned had tested negative for Covid-19, and that the first team squad were still in isolation, probably to keep them wrapped up for a bit.
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

No, it was downgraded from category 2 to category 3 in 2013 and then remained cat 3 when we went back up. This looks like a full shutdown as things stand.

It was, then we set up the academy shortly after the training ground moved to PEPF which was around 2010 I think.

Naturally we are all very worried for the future of our beloved club at this time, but I doubt we will be the only one in this situation before the current crisis is over.

So the JT money is over 4.5 years and we've only received £50k so far which all went on McCallum.

TK has been unsure on 8 out of 10 signings we've made over the past couple of years but has waved them through anyway. He doesn't mention John Still by name but he may has well have done.

Loach and McCullum ? But.......this season DC has got most players playing to a decent level - Alexander and Reynolds in particular, so a little harsh IMO - though have not heard interview yet

Notably no words of reassurance, praise etc. for Darren Currie, however, and he’s been manager for more than half the time Kleanthous is talking about. As a Darren Currie fan, who thinks we’ve stumbled upon a manager who knows what he’s doing and is only getting better, I wasn’t encouraged by the interview (not that there’s likely to be any encouragement on that score to be found in an interview about the manager being sacked along with every other non-playing member of staff!).

It all just makes it more real.

If only bloody Coventry had bloody tried to score against bloody Morecambe.
